2 weeks!
Parker is two weeks old today! He lost his umbilical cord to celebrate. We walked him to the uni for his first appointment with Dr. Salmon. She said that he is so cute and very healthy. He is up to 4 kilos now (about 8lb 13oz), so we know that he is getting plenty to eat! We were a bit surprised that she was not more impressed with my stellar delivery... she was, however, very impressed with Parker's high Apgar scores. We will go back and see her the week before we leave to check in and get Parker's first round of immunizations. On another note, we have not quite figured out the art of diapering a boy...

Tyler is such a good sport to allow you to take a picture!
That is good stuff! Kelly you look amazing...motherhood is agreeing with you very much! And poor Tyler...what a good sport! LOL. Hugs and kisses from all of us in snowy Montana!
I think you need a PeePee TeePee to help out with that problem :). You and Parker are looking great, Kelly, and Tyler . . . well, it'll get better.

The art of diapering a boy: As soon as you take a diaper off, you put another diaper or cloth over him. Then diaper him while the cloth is on top of him.
I've heard the Pee Pee Teepee is where it's at, but I think Ashley used to just lay a wipe over Christopher when she was changing him. Man, he got Tyler good. LOL! Kel, you look amazingly happy. Can't wait to see you guys.
I laughed out loud when I saw the picture of Tyler. Brings back memories!

I can't believe he is only two weeks old. He has the face of an older child. He's adorable.
I remember the peeing all over have you had the explosive #3 AFTER you take the diaper off? That is the worst! You too are doing a great job and you are bothe glowing! A comment to an earlier post about feeding...We fed every 2-3 hours with the boys but all in all...you have to do what is working for you! I believe because they are so young they need to be woke up often to feed...but I had premies so things could be different. Love you all! Hugs and kisses

Haha! That is so funny! You'll have to devise some sort of little "pee-pee tee-pee" to prevent that from happening :) Seriously Kelly, he is absolutely A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!! And not just cause he's a new baby - like he's seriously a good lookin' kiddo!!
