More pictures and details...
Parker weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz and 20.5 inches long. He just had his blood sugar checked to make sure it was not too low - it was very good. He just had his first poo, too. He is doing well so far, and he really loves to suck on his hands... he screams like mad if you try to take them away and that has led to a few scratches. Other than that he is doing just dandy. We have moved up to the recovery ward... it is not nearly as nice. We have a tiny shared room, but we'll make it work.

He is so cute and amazing! I can't believe he is finally here! I'm glad everthing is going well and that you are able to enjoy him now. :)
Tyler & Kelly, Congratulations! I am so happy that little guy is here. He is a perfect size. Kelly, you did such a great job managing the gestational diabetes! And from the sounds of it you had the delivery you wanted as well. I love the fact that he screams when you take his hand away - good luck with that :)
And I love seeing my son holding his son. And finally, I love that I am a Grandma. Hurry Home!
Parker is beautiful! He must have spent that extra time growing hair. Congratulations on a job well done you two. We send bundles of love across the world to the Smith family.
Oh sure, I just couldn't stay awake for one more hour! Stupid cold... But hey, what a great morning to be an auntie! Kel you did amazing, I only hope mine goes half as fast and smooth when the time comes. Guess all the waiting did pay off (even though it was driving you crazy). I still think he looks a lot like Ty as a baby, and brother you need a little more meat on your bones. Better hurry and get home so you can pig out on all the wonderful American delicacies you've been missing. I expect your pants to fit you the next time I see you. Parker is absolutely perfect! I just woke up and had to hurry to my computer. He's so great. I just want to be there to hold him. I love his hair and little lips.
